Rebates

Choosing to install a heat pump and/or an electric water heater at your home makes good energy sense. We can add some ‘cents’ to your energy sense though our rebate program.

If you are are building a new home, adding on to an existing home or just remodeling, our rebate program helps pay for the new heat pumps and water heaters, and promotes the use of these energy efficient appliances.

Air-to-air and ground source heat pumps with a SEER rating of 10 or above are eligible for $100 per ton rebate. If the heat pump is being installed as part of a building under construction, then an electric water tank must also be installed for the heat pump to qualify for the rebate.

The heat pumps and water heaters must be new electrical load for the cooperative and must be installed in a permanent structure.

We can help you determine the correct heat pump size for your home or business.

Once the system is installed, you need to call our office so we can work with you to schedule an on-site verification.

For your water heater needs, we also stock 30- 40- and 50-gallon A. O. Smith tanks at our Collinsville office.

After the tank is purchased and installed, call us for verification. After installation is verified, the rebate amount, minus taxes, will be credited to your account or a check will be mailed to you.
