Utility Pole Inspection

In addition to keeping our rights-of-way clear of trees and brush, we also inspect our utility poles, lines and equipment in our commitment to provide reliable electric service.

Our pole inspection program involves ultra sound inspection, boring the poles, ground resistance testing GPS coordinates of poles, digital photos of pole top assemblies, inspecting hardware, power lines and rights-of-way and installing yellow guy wire guards for visibility. These services are provided by a contract pole inspection company.

Inspecting our electric lines and pole top equipment is conducted by VVEC employees.
